TOPSERVE RESTAURANT SERVICE CONSULTING
By coordinating the Restaurant Service System and training the Dining Room Staff, Topserve Consulting helps to streamline performance, increase profits and achieve long-term success in an industry known for its high failure rate.
1. Restaurant Performance Evaluations - Topserve experts discreetly dine at your restaurant during the busiest hours reviewing all significant points relating to the "dining out experience," such as Restaurant Outward Appearance, Front Door and Dining Room Appearance, Menu Analysis, Ambiance, Dining/Wait Staff Service, Skills and Technique throughout the dining experience, Food Preparation and Quality, Service Ending, Payment Handling, Restrooms, and more.
Everything is observed and evaluated objectively with a fresh pair of eyes.
A final report noting areas of strength and weakness will be provided in great detail within one business day of the restaurant evaluation. This report will contain useful information geared for upgrading and improvements offering a vantage starting point for future success.
2. In-Depth Analysis of Restaurant Service Operations - Topserve experts thoroughly analyze your current restaurant dining room service system, and evaluate how it connects to and functions with other liaisons of the "house," such as the kitchen, bar, coffee station, point-of-sale, accounting - and most importantly - the customer. During this study, the "structure and process" connections of the food service delivery and maintenance systems are observed and reviewed allowing necessary logistical improvements to be made.
Here is how the in-depth analysis works:
First, a needs analysis discussion must be completed to learn of the specific parameters particular to each food service operation. Then, a proposal/contract outlining the details of a consulting project will be submitted including a work frame, time frame, and payment schedule. Topserve Consulting diligently works "in sync" with the restaurant theme, menu, desired service level, and your vision of success as restaurant operator.
While on premises, Topserve initiates open staff dialogue making key observations and recommendations "on the spot" to enhance restaurant service mechanics and performance. Ultimately, the results are higher sales, improved staff morale (essential for pleasing diners) and, in many cases, lower payroll because of better labor organization.
A final report focusing on implementations made to improve restaurant service including standards and guidelines for future progress is submitted within three business days of our last on-site visit.
3. Per Diem Fee - This is applicable for minimal hours/days of employment. This fee entitles professional advice from Topserve Consulting on the restaurant dining service systems including staff training.
***Richard is also available for speaking engagements that include lectures how to
provide excellent restaurant and customer service in today's economic environment.***
4. Monthly Retainer - This is employment for a specific number of days per month (to be determined) ensuring long-term success with a complete understanding of new procedures and strategies. The restaurant consultant availability will be negotiated with the client as the same procedure for #2 applies here.
